PLAYER RELATIONS:
Advising the franchise on matters related to player discipline, grievances, and disputes, and representing the franchise in negotiations with players and their agents.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION:
Handling disputes and legal proceedings involving the franchise, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
COMPLIANCE WITH LEAGUE RULES:
Ensuring that the franchise complies with the rules and regulations of the relevant sports league, including salary cap regulations, draft rules, and disciplinary procedures.
RISK ASSESSMENT:
Identifying potential legal risks and liabilities that could impact the franchise’s operations and ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines set forth by relevant professional associations or governing bodies.
